The most important element of our design process is you and your family. Before we begin we take the time to get to know you. We discuss what is most important to you, how your family lives and how your new home needs to work for you.

Working to your budget

Keeping your budget in mind while ensuring the design and scope of works encompasses all of your ideas, wants and needs is a key part of the process. We design great homes with innovative solutions that are practical to build.

Size restrictions

Every building site is different. If you have a tricky site with limitations such as an awkward shape, steep slopes or tight height restrictions, we can provide solutions that factor in these elements, while still creating a home that works for your family and gives you the “wow” factor.

Understanding interior spaces

Great design is not only about room size and relationship, but how the spaces flow and work together. Got an amazing view that you want to gaze at all day? Considered. Clear design and plans

Using the latest computer design software means we are able to produce detailed 3D renders and walk-throughs of your new home. This helps to understand how the spaces of your new home will look during the design phase. Once the final design is approved we produce finished building plans and specifications for the council consent process.

Council requirements and consent

Councils require a great deal of information for resource and building consents, and council regulations differ across the country. Baillie Architecture provide fully-detailed consent plans and specifications that are comprehensive and complete to ensure the consent process is as streamlined as possible.
